Hello

I'm Heloisa, a Design Researcher and Graphic Designer. I am pursuing my MFA in Design Research and Development at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio.

Curiosity drives me, which is why I chose Design Research, focusing on User Experience and Participatory Design. I love exploring how people interact with the world around us—environments, products, services—and finding ways to make those interactions better, more accessible, and more sustainable. To me, great design happens through community.

Right now, I’m deep into my thesis, co-designing with elementary school kids to dream up natural outdoor play spaces. It’s been such a rewarding and fun process to see the world through their eyes!
